Maltepe University Accepted As A Member To European University Association

The European University Association (EUA) represents higher education institutions in Europe, providing them with a unique forum to cooperate and keep abreast of the latest trends in higher education and research. The Institute, centred in Brussels, has 775 higher education members from 45 European countries.

 
The European University Association provides services to their members in order to develop their quality culture in higher education. The letter, recieved on February 2, 2010 from the President of the Union, Professor Jean-March RAPP to Professor Kemal KÖYMEN, notified that application by the Rectorate was accepted in the council meeting held on January 29, 2010, in Brussels.
 
Including management, academic, communication and international units, entire Maltepe University will be notified about European University Association’s activities/services and developments and trends in European Higher Education. Acceptance of Maltepe University to the Association will not only contribute to the development of our university but will also help the Associaton strenghten its bonds with political authorities and societies.  As a member of the Association, Maltepe University will have a chance to take part in conferences, education seminars and institutional assessment sessions, and become a part of the Web of European Universities.
