A student who is currently enrolled in a Master's Degree programme in the same discipline at another institution and has successfully completed at least one semester, upon submitting all required documents before the deadline, may transfer to the Master's Programme at Maltepe University upon the recommendation of the department administration and with the approval of the Administrative Committee of the Graduate School of Social Sciences. The decision taken will also include eligibility for exemption from some course requirements of the graduate programme. Recognition of prior non-formal and in-formal learning will also be considered although rules and regulations are not yet adequately developed in Turkish Higher Education System.

Graduates from other disciplines are accepted to the programme provided they take undergraduate courses with the approval of the head of the department and the Administrative Committee of the Graduate School of Social Sciences to make them ready to take graduate courses as scientific preparation.
