Prof.Dr. Nevzat ALKAN
He was born in 1968 in Ankara.
Primary school 1st-year 1st-semester Salihli - Manisa,
Primary school 1st class 2nd semester Güzelyurt-Kıbrıs,
2nd and 3rd grade of primary school Babaeski - Kırklareli,
He completed fourth and 5th grade in a primary school in Manisa.
He completed his secondary education in Salihli - Manisa.
He graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1991.
Between 1991 and 1993, Zonguldak - Devrek served as a compulsory service at the Inspectors Health Center.
In September 1993, Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Department of Forensic Medicine Medicine Training began.
During his residency training, he received training for 15 months in various units of the Forensic Medicine Institute under the Ministry of Justice.
In May 1996, he completed his Medical Specialty Training and became a Forensic Medicine Specialist with his thesis titled Writing Changes Due to Aging.
From April 1997 to April 1998, he worked as a Forensic Medicine Specialist at the Forensic Medicine Institute of Istanbul University for a year.
In March 2003 he became Associate Professor of Forensic Medicine.
Since December 1997, Advocate Funda Özbaşandaç is married to Assoc. Prof. Nevzat Alkan has a daughter, Begüm, who was born in August 2003.
He is currently a Professor at the Forensic Medicine Department of Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine.
INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCES IN FORENSIC MEDICINE
December 1995-February 1996 Worked as an observer researcher in the Office of Forensic Document Inspector Robert W. Radley in Reading, England.

2002 United States of America, Georgia - Atlanta; Attended the 54th Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences.
2003 United States, Illinois – Chicago; Attended the 55th Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences.
October 2005 Austria - Vienna participated in the Regional Meeting on the Prevention of Drug and Human Trafficking in Eastern European Countries at the United Nations Office.
June – July 2006 United States, Massachusetts – Attended an intensive training program on Human Rights and Health at Harvard University in Boston.
June – July 2006 United States, Maryland – Attended the training program on Sexual Assault Examination training at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
2008 Italy, Florence, participated in the 4th European Addiction Therapy Congress.
