I - NECESSARY INFORMATION BEFORE APPLICATION:

- Arrangement of the office/site by the student (Internship is not accepted in companies belonging to first degree relatives).

- Approval of the required documents (date, signature and stamp) by the relevant supervisor (ARCHITECT or CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER) at the construction site/office

IMPORTANT NOTES:

* Documents approved by individuals who are not architects or engineers are not valid.

**There may be institutions that require an official letter from the student for the acceptance of the internship. In this case, you can contact the internship commission via e-mail.

*** There may be workplaces that require a certificate of insurance from students before starting the internship. In this case, you can get the necessary insurance certificate from the Administrative and Financial Affairs via e-mail without coming to school. This document is not provided by the faculty.

 - The internship must be arranged for 30 WORKING DAYS.

 - Internship start and end dates should be determined by taking into account public holidays. After deducting public holidays and Sundays from the internship period, the remaining period should be 30 working days.

- If desired and appropriate, several internships can be done consecutively. The important thing is that the number of days is sufficient and within the summer term according to the academic calendar.

- Considering the cases such as illness, etc., it is recommended to write the end date of the internship a few days more than the internship period.

- If possible, summer school and summer internship can be done together. If the company where you will do your internship accepts this situation, you can plan your internship period by informing the internship commission first.

- Internships should be arranged in accordance with the academic calendar. They must start after the end of the courses and final exams and must be completed before the course start dates of the next academic year. The Internship Start Date is announced by the Internship Commission in the announcements for each summer.

The EARLIEST START DATE FOR INTERNSHIPS is 3rd of JULY 2023. Until the beginning of the academic year 2023-2024, internships can be done for 30 working days in the desired date range.

.           The internship can also be done during the education and training period, summer school and general exam periods, provided that it is of the same duration and not less than three days per week. However, such an internship can be carried out with the appropriate decision of the relevant Departmental Applied Education Commission, taking into account the efficiency of the internship.
