MUTAM- Maltepe University Research and Application Center of Humanities and Social Sciences (Istanbul, Turkey, www.maltepe.edu.tr/mutam/en ) welcomes visiting researchers who are funded by the EU Grant Programmes or fellowships granted by TUBITAK or by their home country and working specifically on environmental ethics, migration, gender issues, cultural studies, ethics in social sciences, urban sociology, and philosophy and/or sociology of arts. The hosting invitation is broadly open to all subfields of humanities and social sciences.
The Centre aims to promote an integrated system of research, training, information and documentation on intercultural studies. It encompasses a cooperation platform where public institutions, universities and NGOs are closely working together. Activities briefly include; conducting research and projects on the branches of social sciences in general, publishing policy briefs, sharing good practices and promoting dialogue between higher education area and local organizations.
