a) To raise awareness about environmental, economic and social sustainability among the academic and administrative staff and students of the university, as well as in all segments of the society, to carry out activities that will serve to raise awareness of sustainability, its adoption and its reflection in practice,
b) To carry out activities in order to develop sustainability as a science and to make it widespread in practice, in this context, to contribute to the strengthening of Turkey's scientific, technological and cultural infrastructure by making use of the knowledge and experience available at the University on sustainability-related issues, by producing and developing technology, producing goods and services,
c) Within the scope of the relevant legislation provisions; Providing education and training to stakeholders and students in public institutions and organizations and the private sector, opening and conducting certificate programs, providing consultancy services, and developing R&D projects on sustainability-related issues,
d) To carry out social responsibility projects related to sustainability within the framework of the university's possibilities, vision, strategies and objectives,
e) To take part in national and international projects related to sustainability, to increase cooperation with relevant organizations, to make suggestions to decision makers on the subject,
f) It aims to coordinate the active follow-up of the University Energy Management Unit Directive and the execution of studies focused on Energy in Sustainability.
