Our target
As Faculty of Business and Management Sciences (IYBF), we aim to raise individuals who are able to provide added value to business life in compliance with our University’s mission; “Free in Thought, Contemporary in Education, Universal in Science”, by developing good practices, reinforcing theoretical knowledge with application and strong research and analysis skills.
Within the framework of these goals, the undergraduate programmes in our faculty are as follows:
• Business (Turkish)
• International Trade and Logistics (Turkish / English)
• Political Science and International Relations (Turkish)
 
Our Academic Staff
Our Academic Staff consists of faculty members who will transfer our academic knowledge to the young people; who will carry our country to the level of modern civilizations, which coincides with the mission of our university on the way of becoming a "World University". Our academic staff is composed of experienced and competent academics, who combine their theoretical knowledge with practice in national and international business life. Thus, it will be possible to raise qualified human capital, which will contribute to the national economy, trade and industrial life.

Our Contemporary Education and Training Approach
In order to ensure that their graduates are also successful in their professional lives, İYBF programmes are designed including the following principles;
• Considering its stakeholders and the realities of business life,
• Being globalization, entrepreneurship and innovation,oriented,
• Emphasizing analytical thinking in system integrity,
• Teaching how to learn,
• Harmonizing with interdisciplinary education programs.
 
Our faculty, which supports the realization of joint projects, seminars and workshops within the scope of University - Industry cooperation, considers such studies as an indispensable wealth of the education and training system.Leading representatives of their respective sectors are also considered important stakeholders. In addition to the work carried out jointly with the business world, we are trying to establish collaborations with internship studies. Creating an environment with added value through collaborative research projects to make our students employees who do not look for a job but looked for after graduation.
The entrepreneurship program also has a special place in our education system. Here, our students are provided with the necessary infrastructure, field experience transfer, management coaching and resource provision in order to raise graduates who are not looking for a job, but who are running their own business beyond being the profiles that businesses seek.

Cooperation with National and International Higher Education Institutions
We have some bilateral cooperation agreements with international higher education institutions in the field of education and training in order to take part in the “Information Society” of the future, which will draw its strength from science and knowledge. In this context, students and academics are exchanged with foreign universities, universities and higher education institutions, with which our faculty has agreements. We carry out active and effective studies on the exchange of both our students, academic and administrative staff, especially with Academic networks such as Erasmus and Erasmus+.

On the other hand, our faculty, cooperative agreements with national higher education institutions, depending on their different universities in Turkey, gives place to the staff of expert guest lecturers in their fields.

Participation in Bologna Process Adaptation Studies
Within the scope of the studies on the establishment of the European Higher Education Area under the body of Turkish Higher Education Council and our University, the following has been done so far;
• Academic  and student exchanges (ERASMUS exchanges)
• Establishment of the crediting system of the courses (ECTS, European Credit Transfer System)
• Aiming to involve stakeholders in the education process contributing to the Higher National Qualifications Framework
 

Thanks to these arrangements, our students are given the opportunity to continue  their education and training in higher education institutions abroad with which agreements have been made.
 
Career Planning and Internship Opportunities;
With the contributions of the Career Planning Centre of our university, our students are given enlightening conferences about the professions they will choose in the future and seminars and workshops are organized in order to get to know the sector more closely. Our students are provided with the necessary support to be able to do internships in the field they are interested in.
With the contemporary education and training programmes of our faculty, we are proud of our civilized, participatory and sharing graduates and students who continue this journey of competence, who can take part in their competencies in a globalized competitive business environment
