You are invited to the International Symposium on Open Education in Digital Era organized by Maltepe University and Oldenburg University’s Center for Open Education Research (COER).
Digitization and openness are among the major global trends affecting the current higher education area. In Turkey, there have been several projects regarding these two trends in the context of the New HEC (Higher Education Council) and Vision 2023 initiatives. During this symposium, we would like to share the experiences in the current implementations and to discuss future projects as well as what the Turkish universities should do in terms of digitization and open education with local and international experts. In other words, we intended to develop a road map that will lead the research, and practice and to increase the awareness about these trends.
We hope to see you in the International Symposium on Open Education in Digital Era that will be held in 12 September 2019 in Maltepe University. The symposium will only include presentations of the invited speakers and panel participants. Panels designed in a way that facilitate the active participation of the audience. Participation to the symposium requires no fees. Please register so that we can make better arragements.
