Success of Our Faculty of Communication Graduate Abdulhalim Erez

We are pleased to announce that Abdulhalim Erez, a 2024 graduate of the Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema, has won the Best Film Award at the International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival's Student Films Competition.

Abdulhalim's graduation project, a short film titled "Sistem", was directed under the supervision of Lecturer Dr. Elif Taşdemir Şanlı. The film passed the pre-jury evaluation and was selected as one of the 12 finalist films for the competition. The film, which was screened at the Antalya Atatürk Cultural Center, received great acclaim from the audience. During the Award Ceremony on October 12, Abdulhalim Erez was awarded the Best Film award for his debut short film. The festival jury cited the reason for this recognition as his ability to harmoniously blend content and form while addressing the theme, and his skill in conveying it effectively.
