Subject: On the “Erasmus in Concert – Building Bridges Between Italy and Turkey” Event Held within the Scope of Erasmus Cooperation
Within the framework of the inter-institutional cooperation agreement (2026) established under the Erasmus+ Programme between our University and the Conservatorio Statale di Musica P.I. Tchaikovsky in Italy, student and staff mobility between the two institutions has been successfully maintained.
As part of this collaboration, a concert event titled “Erasmus in Concert” was held on May 2, 2026, by the visiting academic staff and artists from the partner institution. This event was successfully carried out as a concrete outcome of cultural interaction and academic cooperation.
The distinguished guest artists who participated in the event are:
- Teresa Cardace (Soprano)
- Berna Bilgin Başaran (Soprano)
- Gianfrancesco Federico (Violin)
- Nico Fuscaldo (Piano)
- Colombo Carello (Director)
As the Erasmus Institutional Coordinator, I would like to express my sincere gratitude, particularly to Prof. Çiğdem İyicil, Director of the Conservatory, and Prof. Dilek Batıbay, Erasmus Conservatory Coordinator, as well as to all academic and administrative staff who contributed to the organization of this meaningful event. I also extend my thanks to all our distinguished guests who honored our University with their presence.
It is evident that such cultural and artistic events strengthen inter-institutional collaboration, deepen academic relations, and make significant contributions to our internationalization goals. It is our greatest wish to continue and expand similar activities in the future.
