About the Programme
Founded in 1997, Maltepe University Faculty of Law is a relatively young institution compared to the well-established law faculties in Turkey, but it has completed its organization rapidly and has acquired all the features that a qualified law faculty should have in a short time and has maintained this feature for a long time. Our faculty produced its first graduates in the 2000-2001 academic year.
The faculty's undergraduate program is designed in parallel with the law education programs in continental European countries. Our faculty graduates start their legal career as individuals who have received basic law formation, are competent in terms of the constantly changing current branches of law, and have developed the skills of commenting, analyzing, and conveying their opinions in written and oral form. In order to provide the ability to use at least one foreign language at a good level, which is sought in a good lawyer today, our students are offered an English preparatory class.
In addition to the extensive work opportunities they have in every field, our faculty graduates who successfully complete their undergraduate education can also work in professions such as judgeship, prosecutorship, attorneyship, and notary public, which are directly reserved for lawyers.
There is always a place in our faculty for individuals who are sensitive to social problems, determined to balance mutual rights and interests and to ensure justice, hardworking and disciplined.
