About Our Faculty
The Faculty of Business and Administrative Sciences, which began its educational activities in the 1997-1998 academic year, includes five departments: Business Administration (Turkish-English), International Trade and Logistics (Turkish-English), and Political Science and International Relations. In our faculty, except for the English Business Administration and English International Trade and Logistics Departments, the medium of instruction in other departments is Turkish. However, students who wish can take a one-year English preparatory course offered by the university. Additionally, compulsory English language courses and professional English courses are provided within the curriculum to help students improve and use their English language skills.
The goal of our faculty is to become one of the leading faculties in the field of business and administrative sciences both nationally and internationally. To achieve this goal, students are prepared for professional life with a curriculum that is constantly updated by distinguished faculty members who are experts in their fields, combining both theoretical and practical lessons. We ensure that our students are trained to be inquisitive, analytical, and ready for national and international competition, equipped with sufficient theoretical and practical knowledge in their fields. In this context, alongside the compulsory courses, which are designed taking into account scientific and technological developments and the needs of our country, we also offer elective courses that allow students to specialize in their areas of interest. The programs of our departments are designed based on scientific and universal standards and are constantly updated in line with developments in the field.
Furthermore, students are given the opportunity to gain practical skills through compulsory internships, preparing them for professional life. Through technical visits, conferences, symposiums, and seminars organized within the faculty, students are provided the opportunity to interact with businesspeople and professionals, enabling them to exchange experiences and gain insights from industry experts.
Our students are also offered the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus program and study abroad for one or two semesters. Additionally, students who wish can benefit from international education and internship mobility programs.
All departments of our faculty are accredited by FIBAA (The Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation), an accreditation body based in Germany. FIBAA accreditation guarantees that the education students receive is of international standards and high quality. This accreditation demonstrates that students are provided with a current and industry-aligned curriculum, that faculty members are experts in their fields, and that educational resources are sufficient. This also helps students in pursuing postgraduate education, internships, or job opportunities abroad, and aids them in achieving their global career goals.
Our faculty has earned the right to use the Turkey Qualifications Framework (TYÇ) logo, in alignment with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF). The TYÇ logo is displayed on the diplomas, diploma supplements, and graduation documents of our graduates. This logo aims to facilitate the international recognition of diplomas and increase employment opportunities.
