Upon the request of and in collaboration with the Istanbul Governorate, Maltepe University Women and Family Studies Application and Study Center hosted the "Foster Family Model Introduction Panel," focusing on a crucial system for children in need of protection.
Organized primarily for our university's academic and administrative staff, the panel provided a comprehensive overview of the foster family service model carried out by the Ministry of Family and Social Services in Turkey.
During the event, expert speakers detailed the following topics:

The positive impacts of the foster family system on the protection and development of children's rights.
This meaningful panel aimed to introduce the foster family service model to our university community and contribute to raising awareness to increase the number of foster families in our country. We thank all academic and administrative staff who attended the event.
