Other Foreign Language Courses

The School of Foreign Languages offers German and Spanish as second foreign language courses to provide students with opportunities to communicate across cultures and diversify their foreign language skills. These elective courses are designed to allow students to select a language in line with their interests and needs.

The second foreign language courses aim to enable students not only to acquire theoretical knowledge of the language but also to use it effectively in everyday life and a variety of communicative contexts. Accordingly, the courses incorporate interactive and communication-oriented activities that encourage active student participation. Through practices designed to develop speaking, listening, and basic communication skills, the learning process is intended to become more engaging and enjoyable.

To facilitate course selection, classes may be scheduled at different times on the same day, thereby providing students from various departments and programmes with options compatible with their timetables.
