“LOOKING AND SEEING”

PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS AND REGISTRATION OF DIGITAL EXHIBITION
 

  1. The online exhibition to be held at the Department of Visual Communication Design at Maltepe University, Cizgitsin Digital Gallery, is open to painting, sculpture, graphic, ceramic, photography, video, stop-motion, animation, anime, digital art and other art and design fields that can be integrated into digital art. However, the works should not be interactive and should not have a physical installation feature.

 

  1. Motion works such as video art, stop-motion, animation, anime should not exceed 5 minutes. The works within this scope should be shared on the artist's youtube channel and the link should be sent us. Works in photography and photographies of artworks in other fields should be sent in 1800 pixels width, 72 dpi resolution and web-optimized jpeg format. For motion works to be included in the catalogue, the layout image containing several images summarizing the work should be sent in 1800 pixels width, 72 dpi resolution and web-optimized jpeg format.

 

  1. The artwork must be the original work of the artist. The responsibility in this regard belongs to the artist.

 

  1. Each artist can participate with only one digital artwork which has not been exhibited or awarded before.

 

  1. The title, technique and year of production, if any, should be stated in the tag of the work. The artist's manifesto and biography should be summarized in no more than 100 words. For more information about the artist, a link such as a professional website or social media account can be specified.

 

  1. Applications made with missing documents or information will not be considered.

 

  1. At the end of the symposium, all participants will be given a certificate of participation and a digital catalogue containing all exhibitors will be published on our website after the exhibition.

 

  1. Artists participating in the exhibition will have accepted the publication of the images and information about their works on the website, social media and various broadcasting organizations by the exhibition committee.
