Children's Literature Day Successfully Concluded

Leading Figures in Children's Literature Gathered at Maltepe University

Children's Literature Day, hosted by Maltepe University on 5 May 2026, brought together distinguished scholars, authors, and academic stakeholders in the field of children's literature.

The opening sessions featured prominent figures, including the acclaimed children's author Fatih Erdoğan and Ayşegül Dede, widely recognized for her work on children's narratives. Their participation greatly enriched the academic and cultural value of the event. Following the sessions held in the Süha Arın Conference Hall, the program continued with hands-on workshops in the classrooms of the Faculty of Education, providing participants with the opportunity to translate theoretical knowledge of children's literature into educational practice.
