Istanbul Inter-High School Mathematics Competition Successfully Concluded

The Istanbul Inter-High School Mathematics Competition, organized through the collaboration of the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education and the Department of Mathematics and Science Education at Maltepe University, has been successfully completed.

The first stage of the competition was held on 18 April 2026 and consisted of a multiple-choice examination conducted simultaneously in six examination halls, with participation from nearly 70 high schools. Following this round, 15 schools advanced to the semi-finals, which took place on 27 April 2026 in three parallel sessions. The top-performing team from each semi-final group qualified for the final round, which was held later that day, concluding the competition.

The top three schools were:

• Beykoz Fen Lisesi
• Kartal Anadolu İmam Hatip Lisesi
• İTÜ GVO Özel Ekrem Elginkan Lisesi

We sincerely congratulate the students of the award-winning schools and wish them continued success in their academic pursuits. We also extend our appreciation to all participating students, whose enthusiasm, dedication, and passion for mathematics contributed to the success of the competition.
