A New Chapter in Social Responsibility Through the Collaboration Between the Faculty of Communication and LÖSEV: The “What’s the Benefit?” Projects Have Been Completed

The 6th University-Industry Collaboration Project, titled “What Is This Benefit?”, carried out between Maltepe University’s Faculty of Communication and the Foundation for the Health and Education of Children with Leukemia (LÖSEV), was successfully completed with the project presentations.

The project, brought to life through the dedicated efforts of 3rd and 4th-year students from our Faculty’s Public Relations and Promotion (HİT) Department, enabled students to combine their theoretical knowledge with creative, socially beneficial solutions.

11 Original Social Benefit-Focused Projects

The event, hosted by our Associate Dean and Faculty University-Industry Collaboration Coordinator, Dr. Elif Sungur, and attended by LÖSEV representative Özlem Filmer, featured a total of 11 project presentations. Through projects prepared individually or in groups, our students aimed to raise public awareness about leukemia and bring an innovative perspective to LÖSEV’s volunteer initiatives.

Some of the presented projects include:

Benefit Starts with Your Name – Aynur Müren

Orange Stop – Nazlı Özkan, Hanife Aslı Başoğlu

The Benefit Caravan on Campus and The Night Turns Orange – Sena Özbağ, Gülce Türk, Buse Torun

We congratulate all our students who have contributed to raising social awareness through their projects, and we thank the LÖSEV family and all our faculty members who contributed to the coordination process for this valuable collaboration.
