Dear Academics, Researchers, and Students,

 “BiGGOSB Entrepreneurship Program Introduction and Information Seminar” will be organized by the Maltepe University Entrepreneurship and Business Development Application and Research Center in collaboration with the GOSB Teknopark Entrepreneurship Office in order to support the integration of technology-oriented and innovative business ideas into the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The BiGGOSB Entrepreneurship Program, carried out within the scope of the 1512 – Individual Young Entrepreneur (BİGG) Program aims to transform patents, prototypes, and R&D outputs developed within the university into entrepreneurial ventures. Within the scope of the program, prospective entrepreneurs will be supported in developing their business ideas and in the commercialization processes.

During the seminar, participants will be informed about the TUBITAK BİGG Program application processes, technical and commercial validation of business ideas, business model development, market and customer analysis, and mentorship processes. The event aims to enhance the commercialization potential of innovative ideas emerging from R&D and scientific studies and to contribute to the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Support Provided Within the Program

Selected entrepreneur candidates will receive free support in the following areas:

  • Technical and commercial validation of business ideas

  • Business model development, market and customer analysis studies

  • Mentorship and one-on-one consultancy

  • Preparation support for the TÜBİTAK BİGG Stage 1 application

The seminar will feature the following speakers: Ergün Alver, R&D Manager at GOSB Teknopark; Saferen Selin Can, University–Industry Collaboration Specialist; and Büşra Yıldız, Entrepreneurship Office Specialist.
