Maltepe University Information Technology Department, operating within the Marmara Education Village, provides services to Maltepe University, Marmara College, Marma Congress Center, and the Dormitories Unit.
The software team develops systems such as student affairs automation, distance education systems, accounting software, and personnel management programs. In addition, the team provides support and training for these applications.

- Prepares and maintains web applications for controlling vehicle usage on campus.
- Manages mailing operations via MailGraf.
- Develops and maintains web applications for vehicle sticker distribution.
- Designs official university web pages.
- Publishes and ensures the continuous updating of these web pages.
- Assigns content managers for academic and administrative unit web pages and provides necessary training.
- Ensures the delivery of interactive projects such as e-bulletins across the university.
- Provides technical infrastructure to deliver internet access to all units.
- Performs maintenance and repair of all computer hardware within the university.
- Procures necessary software packages required by the university.
- Stores traffic data related to provided services in compliance with Law No. 5651 dated 04.05.2007 and relevant regulations, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of such data.
- Carries out necessary procedures for network installation and ensures the proper functioning of existing network systems.
- Conducts design and documentation of the current network infrastructure.
- Provides technical support for internal network issues.
- Defines rules and authorizations for the university’s information systems firewall.
- Ensures the university email system operates securely and continuously (24/7).
- Manages email and user accounts for personnel and students.
- Implements necessary arrangements within the local network to ensure user computer security.
- Performs regular maintenance and checks on servers and firewall devices.
- Ensures the proper functioning of virtualized servers.
- Ensures regular backup and protection of servers and databases.
- Conducts annual maintenance of laboratory computers and updates required software.
- Provides support for campus camera systems and resolves related issues.
