2) How can I access the internet via campus Wi-Fi?
Internet access is available in all buildings. To connect, use the wireless network Maltepe_Student with your login credentials:
- Username: Your Student Number
- Password: Your TEK password
Notes:
- For smartphones: Android versions below 2.1 cannot access the internet.
- For computers: Devices with DNS settings in the IP tab or configured proxies may not connect. Other issues may be system- or hardware-related.
3) Where can I use the TEK password?
Your TEK password is valid for all IT services at Maltepe University, including:
- MÜBİS (Student Information System)
- Wi-Fi
- Library access
- Distance Education System (MUDES)
The TEK password is not single-use; it works for all relevant IT services.
4) How can I obtain my TEK password?
You can retrieve your TEK password via the “Forgot My Password” option on the MÜBİS login page, which will send it to your registered mobile number.
If the password does not arrive, visit the IT Department with your student ID.
Note: If SMS delivery fails, contact your mobile operator and request: “I want to receive messages from Maltepe University”. Some operators block these messages as part of ad-blocking policies.
You can also change your TEK password from the “Forgot My Password / Change Password” option on the MÜBİS login page.

- Go to https://kutuphane.maltepe.edu.tr/
- Click Off-Campus Access
- Select Off-Campus Access System (VETİS)
- Click Forgot/Set Password
- Confirm the activation email sent to your mailbox and phone
