Energy Efficient Construction Graduate Program with and without Thesis is part of the Department of Interdisciplinary Renewable Energy Technologies and Management. Students of the Department of Interdisciplinary Renewable Energy Technologies and Management make critical analysis, synthesis and evaluation of issues and thoughts related to engineering and architecture, and develop critical views. Evaluates the environment, people, society, energy issues required by sustainable design in a comprehensive and holistic way and transfers them to their works. It ensures that clean energy technologies are integrated into architectural and engineering sciences and that innovations are followed. Uses the information that has been absorbed in interdisciplinary studies during the design and implementation process. Energy Efficient Construction Graduate Program with and without Thesis handles the interdisciplinary environmental and energy issues in the most effective way by using integrated approaches, such as environmental pollution and energy crisis.

 

It is compulsory to complete a total of 21 local and non-credit “Master's Seminars” courses for the Master's degree with thesis. Students who successfully complete their courses can proceed to the thesis stage. Master's Program with Thesis is for 4 semesters, it can be extended to a maximum of 6 semesters. Graduate Program without Thesis is completed in a minimum of 2 and maximum of 3 semesters.

 

The knowledge and skills gained by the students with and without thesis provide them with strong career opportunities. Graduates can find career opportunities in public institutions, universities and industrial organizations in the current and developing fields of energy systems, sensor systems, environmental monitoring and control, smart and green building technologies.
