Maltepe University Psychology Doctoral Programme provides an alternative for those who intends to have Phd

Degree; it is also an alternative to both other national and international doctoral pragramme. The programme is a part of the process of raising qualified academicians as well as the phase of concretization of contributions to national and international literature.

The qualified syllabus and prominent academicians will make possible to carry out a high-quality Phd programme. 

Students are obliged to take 21 credits courses in both fall and spring terms within the frame of the plan here above.  Additionally to the said credit, students are obliged to take the “Seminar” course in the third term, with no credit, to be able to have the level of competence. Thus, the conditions to qualify for the doctoral program are taking minimum 21 credits-24 hours courses (240 ECTS). The duration of the Doctoral Program education is eight terms of those accepted with a master’s degree and ten terms for those accepted with an undergraduate degree (42 credits-300 ECTS). Students who complete the Doctoral Program before this time can graduate early.
 

MISSION

The mission of the programme is to raise psychologist who are capable of interpreting and applying the theories of psychology, and can design a research on behavior.
 

VISION

The vision is mainly to research on psychology and puplish them on international scientific journals.
