TODAIE Human Rights Research and Collection Center
Established in 1975, the center aimed to contribute to the development of human rights thinking in Turkey and to meet the needs of public administration in this area during its active period. However, at the end of 2018, the activities of the Turkey and Middle East Public Administration Institute Human Rights Research and Collection Center were terminated by Decree Law No. 703.
Ankara University Human Rights Research and Application Center
Established in 1978, it is the first human rights center established within a university in Turkey. With over 30 years of academic expertise and practical experience, the Ankara University Human Rights Research and Application Center has been active in producing and disseminating knowledge in the field of human rights in our country, as well as developing human rights awareness and solidarity at the national and international levels. Its activities were suspended in 2018.
Hacettepe University Human Rights and Philosophy Application and Research Center
Established in 1997, the Center strives to address both the need to define the content of individual human rights and the concept of human rights, as well as the need to incorporate the ethical dimension—the most fundamental aspect of human rights—into human rights education. To this end, the Center runs an interdisciplinary program centered on philosophy and ethics and organizes national and international conferences.
Istanbul University Human Rights Law Research and Application Center
Established in 1997, the Center's objective is to conduct research and other studies in the theoretical and practical fields regarding the recognition, protection, implementation, and development of human rights, using an interdisciplinary approach to human rights law, focusing on national and supranational law, and employing scientific methods.
Istanbul Bilgi University Human Rights Law Research and Application Center
Established in 2000. The aim of the center, as stated in its founding regulations, is to conduct research and applications with an interdisciplinary approach in the fields of human rights law and humanitarian law, with the goal of recognizing, protecting, and developing human rights in terms of domestic and international law.
Turkish Bar Association Human Rights Center
The Center was established in 2001 under the name “Human Rights Research and Application Center.” The purpose of the Center, as stated in its regulations, is to conduct professional, technical, and applied research and other studies aimed at ensuring fundamental rights and freedoms, establishing the rule of law, and recognizing, protecting, implementing, and promoting human rights at the national and supranational levels of law.
