OUR ACTIVITIES

The Priority Areas for Societal Contribution defined within the scope of Maltepe University’s 2024–2028 Strategic Plan reflect our university’s vision to create sustainable and effective social benefit. Within this framework, ten key areas have been identified:

Acting with a sense of social responsibility, our university:

  • Develops inclusive projects aimed at various segments of society through Socio-Economic and Cultural Studies,

  • Prioritizes environmental sustainability efforts as part of the Fight Against Climate Change,

  • Supports an egalitarian social structure through Gender Studies,

  • Implements special programs for the inclusion of Disadvantaged Groups in society,

  • Contributes to the goal of leaving a livable world for future generations through Sustainability Practices,

  • Raises public awareness on the issue of Combating Addiction,

  • Enhances social sensitivity through Social Responsibility projects,

  • Provides accessible education for all with the Accessible University approach,

  • Aims to become an environmentally friendly university through Green Campus practices,

  • Develops exemplary practices in Waste Management.

In line with these priority areas, our university aims to transform academic knowledge into social benefit and to produce solutions for a sustainable future. As Maltepe University, we will continue to develop and advance our societal contribution efforts in collaboration with all our stakeholders.
