Seminar with Prof. Dr. Bahattin Akşit: “The Development of Rural Sociology in Turkey”
The seminar titled “The Development of Rural Sociology in Turkey,” organized by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Yeditepe University, was held on Monday, December 9, 2024, from 13:00 to 14:00 in Room Z10 of the Faculty of Law.
At the event, distinguished sociologist Prof. Dr. Bahattin Akşit—formerly a faculty member at Maltepe University and currently an active member of the SOYAÇ volunteer team—delivered an insightful talk on the development of rural sociology in Turkey.
The seminar was open to the public and served as a valuable gathering for academics, students, and individuals interested in the field of sociology.
