1. The exhibition, organized online by the Department of Visual Communication Design at Maltepe University in the ÇİZGİTSİN Digital Gallery, is open to submissions from the fields of painting, sculpture, graphic arts, ceramics, photography, video, stop-motion, animation, anime, digital art, and other art and design disciplines that can be integrated with digital art. However, the works must not be interactive and must not take the form of physical installations.
2. The duration of video-based submissions such as video art, stop-motion, animation, and anime must not exceed 5 minutes. The artworks should be uploaded to the artist’s YouTube channel, and the video link must be included in the submission. Photographic artworks and artworks from other disciplines must be submitted as images with a width of 1800 pixels, a resolution of 72 DPI, and saved in JPEG format optimized for web use. For video submissions to be included in the exhibition catalogue, a layout image summarizing the artwork - composed of several still frames—must also be submitted separately in the same technical specifications (1800 px width, 72 DPI, JPEG optimized for web use).
3. The artwork must reflect the artist’s original artistic language. The artist bears full responsibility and legal liability in this regard.
4. Each artist may participate with only one artwork. The artwork must not have been previously exhibited or awarded.
Artwork Details, Artwork Statement, and Biography
5.1. The title of the artwork, technique used, and year of production must be clearly indicated in the artwork details.
5.2. Artists are also expected to provide an artwork statement of no more than 100 words explaining the purpose of the work, its conceptual framework, and the message it intends to convey.
5.3. The artist biography must be written in the third person and should include no more than 100 words presenting key information such as the artist’s educational background, professional identity, affiliated institution(s), areas of practice, and techniques used.
5.4. The artwork title, artwork statement, and artist biography must be submitted in both Turkish and English.
5.5. In the event of missing or incomplete information, the exhibition editorial team reserves the right to translate the texts; to edit biography and statement texts in accordance with the exhibition’s editorial standards and overall coherence without altering their meaning; and to correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors.
6. Submissions containing missing documents or information, as well as submissions in which artworks are submitted in a manner that does not comply with the technical requirements (for example, low resolution), will not be considered for evaluation.
7. A digital certificate of participation will be sent to each artist participating in the exhibition An e-catalog including all participants' artworks and information will be published on ÇİZGİTSİN Digital Gallery after the exhibition.
8. Artists participating in the exhibition shall be deemed to have accepted that images and information related to their artworks may be published by the exhibition committee on the website, social media platforms, and various media outlets.
