1. 96 students from the Special Education Department of the Faculty of Education completed their teaching practice course at the Metin Sabancı School for Spastic Children.
2. Faculty of Education research assistants Derya Çıkılı SOYLU and Fatih Kıvanç ERDOĞAN participated in a course titled "The Flow and Components of Early Intervention," organized by the Turkish Foundation for Spastic Children, with the participation of American and Portuguese trainers. The course was fee-based, and they were accepted as scholarship recipients by the Foundation.
3. As part of "October 6th Day," Vanilla Media conducted interviews with Dr. Handan DOĞAN and Dr. Deniz Dağseven EMECEN, which were published in the press. Faculty members and students from the Faculty of Education participated in the day by wearing green clothing and giving short speeches highlighting its importance. Events are organized every October 6th as Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day.
4. Dr. Handan DOĞAN, Assistant Professor, was invited to the seminar titled "Special Education in Children with Cerebral Palsy," held on October 26, 2019, at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University Conference Hall, for special education teachers, classroom teachers, and families working under the Rize Provincial Directorate of National Education and the Rize Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services.
5. Feyza PÜSKÜLLÜ, Research Assistant in the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Program at the Faculty of Education, conducted a project titled "Perceived Social Support and Family Relationships of Mothers with Children with Cerebral Palsy" as part of her doctoral studies.
6. The editing of the book titled "Cerebral Palsy: The Case of Turkey," prepared by foundation staff, is being carried out by our faculty members and is still ongoing.
7. The research titled "The Effect of Instruction with Fixed Waiting Time Provided to Teachers of Students with Multiple Disabilities on Students' Acquisition of Daily Living Skills" is being conducted by Dr. This study was conducted by Assistant Professor Deniz DAĞSEVEN EMECEN.
8. "The effect of schema-based teaching strategy in teaching problem-solving skills to students with multiple disabilities" was conducted by Dr. Assistant Professor Deniz DAĞSEVEN EMECEN, Research Assistant F. Kıvanç ERDOĞAN, and Research Assistant Derya ÇIKILI SOYLU.

10. Professor Dr. Attilla CAVKAYTAR, a faculty member of the Special Education Department of the Faculty of Education, participated in the "Special Education Symposium in All Aspects from Inclusion to Integration" on October 2, 2021, to present on "Family in Inclusive Education from a Special Education Perspective," within the scope of the "My School is Whole If I Am Here Project (BENvob)," funded by the European Union under the Civil Society Dialogue V Grant Program, run by the Turkish Foundation for Spastic Children.
11. Prof. Dr. Emine Sema BATU, a faculty member of the Special Education Department at the Faculty of Education and a member of our board of directors, participated in the "Special Education Symposium: From Inclusion to Integration in All Aspects," held on October 2, 2021, as part of the "My School is Whole If I Am Here Project (BENvob)," funded by the European Union under the Civil Society Dialogue V Grant Program, and implemented by the Turkish Foundation for Spastic Children, to present on "The Importance of Preschool Education in Inclusive Education."
11. Within the scope of the "Prof. Dr. Hıfzı Özcan 8th International Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Disorders Congress," organized by the Turkish Foundation for Spastic Children between February 26-28, 2021, the work of the Maltepe University Cerebral Palsy Academic Research Unit was presented by Dr. Handan DOĞAN.
12. Dr. Handan DOĞAN, Assistant Professor, was invited as a speaker to the webinar titled "Inclusive Education in Early Childhood" organized by the Turkish Association of Private Schools (TÖZOK) on March 4, 2022.
13. In the 2021-2022 academic year, Ezgi Özden, a PDR (Psychological Counseling and Guidance) employee from TSÇV Metin Sabancı Schools, was accepted to the Maltepe University Graduate Education Institute's Guidance and Psychological Counseling – Thesis-based Master's Program. Our university provided a 60% scholarship.
14. In the 2021-2022 academic year, Nihan Topçuoğlu, a director in corporate communication services at TSÇV, was accepted to the Maltepe University Graduate Education Institute's Business Administration Thesis-based Master's Program. Our university provided a 60% scholarship.
15. In the 2021-2021 academic year, Zafer Çınar, the director of TSÇV applications and services, was accepted to the Maltepe University Graduate Education Institute, Non-Thesis Master's Program in Educational Management and Supervision. Our university provided a 60% scholarship.
16. TSÇV requested a one-year training program for 35 education and rehabilitation staff through CPAAB. The unit prepared the 220-hour program, and the trainings began in September 2021, delivered by 10 faculty members face-to-face and, as pandemic conditions allowed, online. TSÇV pays our university 154,116.00 TL for these services.
The 17th training program was introduced and launched at an event organized by Maltepe University Rector Prof. Dr. Şahin KARASAR and TSÇV Board Chairperson Dilek SABANCI, with the participation of faculty members, foundation staff, and the press.
