Publıc Law Symposıum In The Lıght Of Developments In Constıtutıonal Law I 30-31 July 2021 I Call for Papers

"PUBLIC LAW SYMPOSIUM IN THE LIGHT OF DEVELOPMENTS IN CONSTITUTIONAL LAW" will be organized by Maltepe University Faculty of Law on 30-31 July 2021.

Upon the YÖK's suggestion dated March 6, 2020, the symposium will be held online, broadcasted live, recorded and archived, and all recordings will be submitted to the presenters separately.

At the symposium, it will be possible to present papers on any subject and in all fields related to Public Law.

Paper applications will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee by comparing the importance of the selected topic, its currentness and other applications with similar titles.

After selecting the papers, the finalized program will be notified to the parties via e-mail on 10 July 2021 and will be announced publicly. The symposium complies with the evaluation and scoring criteria of the Associate Professorship of YÖK and UAK.

Symposium Language

It is possible to participate in the symposium with presentations in Turkish or English.

 

Abstract Submission and Symposium Participation:

Paper presentation time should be planned not to exceed 25 minutes.

In terms of presentations to be made by more than one person, the number of people who made the presentation and the identities of the people should also be stated.

The presentations made will be recorded by video recording method and, if deemed necessary, they can be republished in channels deemed appropriate by the Organizing Committee and made available to the public. The submitted papers have not been presented or published anywhere before and must be original works.

Abstracts for application should be prepared in both Turkish and English, between a minimum of 300 and a maximum of 500 words, with 5 keywords and an ORCID number.

The abstract should be sent to the e-mail address by adding the brief CV, institution and contact information of the presenter until 25.06.2021 at the latest. The abstracts will be subjected to scientific preliminary examination by the referee committee with the method of blind refereeing and accepted papers will be presented at the Symposium.

The owners of the accepted papers will be informed via e-mail on 10.07.2021 and a letter regarding the acceptance of the paper will be sent.

Broadcasting

Both abstracts and full texts of all papers to be presented at the symposium will be published separately in an e-book format with ISBN. In case of acceptance of the abstract, it is accepted that the owners of the papers who sent the abstracts gave their approval for its publication. No royalties will be paid to the authors for the publication of the proceedings booklet and full-text papers.

Papers accepted for the symposium will be published in the Symposium Book of Maltepe University Faculty of Law or in the Journal of Maltepe University Faculty of Law, subject to referee control, provided that they are sent to the e-mail addresses of Gonca Kuru and Ezgi Yetimoğlu ([email protected] and [email protected]) in full text until 15.09.2021.
