WHY MALTEPE UNIVERSITY FACULTY OF LAW?

Established in 1997, the Maltepe University Faculty of Law aims to educate well-equipped and qualified legal professionals recognized both nationally and internationally. The faculty, which graduated its first students in the 2000-2001 academic year, conducts its teaching activities with a staff of experienced academics recognized in their field both in Turkey and globally. The four-year undergraduate program is designed with a synthesis that tries to harmonize the law education programs of countries in the Continental Europe and Anglo-Saxon legal systems as much as possible with the Turkish legal system. The teaching program, offering both theory and practice, is committed to training effective lawyers not only on the national level but also internationally.

Our graduates who successfully complete their undergraduate studies have opportunities to work in professions that can only be practiced by individuals with a legal background, such as judgeship, prosecution, law practice, and notary, as well as in Ministries, Banks, national and international NGOs. The bilateral agreements made by our University and Faculty, allowing our students to study abroad for one or two semesters through ERASMUS programs, significantly increase their employment opportunities internationally.
