About Nato Internship Programme

Internship Duration: 6 months

Internship Location: NATO Headquarters in Belgium

Remuneration to be paid to interns: 1235 Euro (tax deductions may be made and the person can also raise additional funds from other areas).  The payment of the fee is determined by the national programme coordinators.  In addition, the travelling expenses of the trainees will be covered by the organisation. The employees of the organisation and the interns will work in the same time zone.

Who Can Apply: Anyone who is 21 years of age or older, a citizen of a NATO member country, has at least two years of university education and has passed the third year, and has proficiency in English or French.  

Internship Acceptance: Applicants accepted to the programme are required to obtain a security clearance, passport and visa. Turkish interns are required to request a tourist visa to Belgium. In addition, a "Beginner Course" will be provided by the organisation to all interns. A certificate is given at the end of the internship.

Internship Start: March and September
