Transfer from Two-year Programs

ÖSYM carries out the placement procedures for successful students who have graduated from vocational high schools and open education associate degree programs who want to transfer to the undergraduate programs which are the continuation of their graduation. The information about the programs to be taken with Vertical Transfer is included in the Vertical Transition Exam (DGS) Manual published by the ÖSYM every year. Candidates must take this exam in order to register to our University through Vertical Transfer and they should choose the programs of our University in the DGS Guide and they should be placed in these programs by ÖSYM.

Students who register to our University through Vertical Transfer are able to transfer the courses they have taken from the associate degree program to the University. For the transfer application, our students are required to submit the transcripts and course contents related to the courses they have taken in the associate degree program to the Faculty / School Secretariat where they register. The relevant faculty / school council decides which courses will be transferred with which grades.
