Internship Information

2. Class Internship: 20 days (end of 4th semester)

3. Class Internship: 20 days (end of the 6th semester)

The principles and application of this internship are determined by the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Internship Directive and Industrial Engineering Internship Directive, which are based on Maltepe University Undergraduate regulations. It is helpful to read both of these guidelines before starting your internship.

On this page, you will find brief information and forms required for starting your internship.

1. Internship Application Procedures

• Determine the companies you will apply for internship.
• Fill out the required places in the Internship Application Cover Letter and the Compulsory Internship form. Paste your photo on the Compulsory Internship form.
• Have the Internship Application Cover Letter Form approved by the Head of Department and the Compulsory Internship form to the Department Internship Supervisor.
• Make your application with these two documents.

2. Actions to Be Taken Before Starting Internship

• The Internship Acceptance Letter form and the Internship Evaluation Document are filled in and photos are affixed and are delivered to the Head of Department and Internship Supervisors.
• The Internship Certificate, Internship Acceptance Letter and Internship Evaluation Document are delivered to the company where the internship will be held and the internship is started.

3. Internship Report

Required Forms:

• 2nd Class Internship Report Front Cover
• 3rd Class Internship Report Front Cover
• Internship Report Content
• Internship Report Format

Filling the Internship Report:

• Fill out the Internship Report Job Form for every job you take part in during your internship.
• Sort these forms according to their work order and fill the Internship Report Table of Contents accordingly.
• Fill out the required places on the Internship Report Front Cover form and have it approved by the Department Internship Supervisor.
• Submit your report after the internship in accordance with the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Engineering Department internship guidelines.
