Developed by Satoshi Nakamoto, Bitcoin, has shaken the classical financial systems and their applications to one’s foundations. In addition, Bitcoin constitutes the first concrete application of blockchain technology, and making it possible for this technology to become the focus of developers.

Blockchain and Law Research Group will address the revolutionary and still developing blockchain technology from a legal perspective, and will conduct research on which legal problems can be encountered and how they can be regulated.
