• A placement test must be taken before registering for courses. The placement test is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:00 PM.
• The placement test results are valid for three months. Despite the placement test results, the instructor may change the student's course if deemed necessary, with the approval of the directorate.
Course fees: are charged in Turkish Lira or US Dollars. Registration fees for classes not offered due to reasons arising from Maltepe TÖMER, as well as fees for students who cannot obtain a visa, will be refunded.
• Registration Suspension: If a valid excuse is provided, class changes can be made within the first week of the registered course, if possible. Subsequent applications will not be accepted, and fees will not be refunded for the missed course period.
• Registration suspension is valid for a maximum of one year. If course fees are increased during this period, the student will be charged the difference. For registration suspensions arising from Maltepe TÖMER, the difference in the increased fee will not be charged. For registration suspensions of more than four months, a free Placement Exam will be administered for re-registration.
• For refunds due to force majeure, the following are required:
I. The original invoice,
II. A petition,
III. The student's identification document, and
IV. The IBAN.
• Courses at Maltepe TÖMER are offered 12 months a year, seven days a week, from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, excluding official and religious holidays.
• Course cancellations due to reasons attributable to Maltepe TÖMER will be made up. Course start and end dates and course rates are determined each academic year and determined according to the Academic Calendar.
• Students may transfer their tuition fees to another student within the first week of a course term.
• For a class to be opened, the minimum number of students for each course must be reached.
• For group applications, special classes with specific intensity levels may be offered for one- or two-month periods. The Maltepe TÖMER administration has the authority to continue or close classes, change course hours, change classrooms, and change instructors.
• A final exam consisting of five skills is administered in the last four hours of each exam level. Successful students advance to the next level. Failing students must repeat the same level, paying the course fee. Passing all skills on the course exam requires achieving the following minimum scores:

COURSES
1. Students who complete the Turkish language courses receive a certificate approved by the Maltepe TÖMER Director and the Maltepe University Rector.
2. Students/participants are required to attend 70% of the classes. Students who are absent will not be allowed to take the final exam and will be considered to have failed that course. Course fees will not be refunded for missed days and hours.
