A Socio-Cultural Model to Preserve the Gagauz Language and Culture: Turning Healthy Bilingualism into an Advantage for Gagauzians — a project aiming to preserve the Gagauz language and culture — was ranked first among all fields in the evaluation of the 2530 TÜBİTAK - Moldova (NARD) Bilateral Cooperation Program. The project will be carried out in collaboration with Komrat State University, Maltepe University, and Trakya University, and will be coordinated by Prof. Dr. Gökçesu Akşit Dudaklı between 2025 and 2027.
📅 Project Launch Meeting
The project launch meeting will be held online on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 14:30 Turkey time / 13:30 Moldova time. The meeting will take place on Maltepe University's Blackboard platform. Academics and students from Maltepe University, Trakya University, and Komrat State University are invited to attend.
The meeting will begin with an opening speech by Prof. Dr. Edibe Sözen Çetintaş, Rector of Maltepe University.

📚 Research Course in Social Sciences: Qualitative Methodology and Participatory Action Research
As part of the project, the "Research in Social Sciences: Qualitative Methodology and Participatory Action Research" course will be delivered by Prof. Dr. Belma Akşit and Prof. Dr. Gökçesu Akşit Dudaklı.
