As the Maltepe University Center for Learning and Teaching Application and Research, we pursue a vision: to become a university that educates young individuals who will shape the future world and that contributes to society through its research activities and collaborations. Guided by the principle of “Free in Thought, Contemporary in Education, and Universal in Science,” our University strives not only to advance education but also to lead the contemporary world in the generation and dissemination of knowledge.
The primary motivation behind the establishment of our Center is our commitment to making learning and teaching processes more effective, efficient, and innovative by harnessing the potential of emerging technologies. Education is the heart of a university and its fundamental mission. With an awareness of this responsibility, we strive to advance Maltepe University’s 27 years of accumulated knowledge and experience to a new level through this Center, in close collaboration with all academic and administrative units and with a holistic approach.
We are not alone on this journey toward our goals. Through academic programs for teachers conducted in collaboration with the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education, our support for Parent Academies, our Science and Art Center (BİLSEM) projects, and our Design Skills Workshops collaboration projects, we continue to be a university that engages with society and creates value. All these initiatives gain greater meaning through the sincere support and contributions of our students, academic staff, and social stakeholders.
The approval granted by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) during the establishment process of our Center represents a reflection of the trust placed in us. We are committed to honoring this trust by becoming a Center that makes a difference in education, embraces innovative ideas, and establishes strong connections with society and the global community.
