To design and implement orientation programs to facilitate the adaptation of students who join the University through horizontal and vertical transfer pathways,
To design and implement programs to support the adaptation of international students to university life.
For Academic and Administrative Staff
To design and implement programs aimed at enriching and improving teaching practices by considering contemporary educational needs and requirements,
To provide support for fair, reliable, and valid assessment and evaluation practices,
To design and implement seminars, webinars, and similar activities on educational technologies,
To provide support for academic staff in addressing challenges that may arise during the teaching and learning process,
To organize and implement orientation programs for newly appointed academic staff,
To design and implement professional development and in-service training programs to enhance and improve the professional competencies of full-time and part-time academic staff working at the University,
To design and implement various training programs to enhance the professional competencies, communication skills, and foreign language proficiency of all administrative staff working at the University.
For Research and Scientific Activities
To conduct research and practice-oriented studies based on a quality assurance perspective to ensure that learning and teaching activities are developed in response to emerging needs, and to publish the outcomes of these studies,
To collaborate with the University’s academic units, particularly the Maltepe University Distance Education Application and Research Center, the Maltepe University Continuing Education Application and Research Center, and other relevant academic units,
To evaluate the services provided by the Center and guide its future activities,
To produce original publications such as reports, bulletins, periodicals, and books on learning and teaching,
To organize national and international scientific events in the field of learning and teaching,
To design and implement programs that encourage all internal stakeholders of the University to participate in learning, teaching, and educational activities within the framework of 21st-century competencies.
