Program Objectives

One of the most important requirements of our age is communication, and communication also falls on the most important task in visual design. The web pages that we observe every day, the pages that we can read and read with pleasure from newspapers and magazines, books, posters, advertisements, packages that interest us, introductory brochures and catalogues, logos, etc. all visual materials are graphic design products. The main objective of all of these is to convey the message, image or information to the target audience in the fastest and most appropriate way. At this point, the graphic design requirement arises.

In order to convey the message to the masses that are already under intense visual effects, the designer must capture the difference without neglecting the functionality. In order to achieve this, it is necessary to train graphic designers who are cultured, have a wide vision, suitable for the age and who can think and apply them in their own way.

In the graphic design department, an education is planned in accordance with this requirement. In addition to graphic design, typography, photography and illustration courses, students are also supported by courses that improve their creativity and culture. Vocational courses are taught theoretically and practically in computer laboratories with adequate equipment, in the discipline of the program that will guide the students to research and in the control of the educators.

Our graduates can work in advertising agencies, visual media organizations, printing, photography or filmmaking sectors as well as establish their own businesses.
