GENERAL INFORMATION
Who is an international student?
Applicants who are not citizens of the Republic of Türkiye or who completed their secondary education abroad are considered international students.
Is there an application fee?
No, applications for international students are free of charge.
How can I apply?
Applications are submitted individually through our university’s online International Student Application System (MÜBİS).

Note:
For Turkish-taught programs, an MEB-approved TÖMER certificate is required.
For English-taught programs, TOEFL iBT, YDS, or YÖKDİL exam results are accepted.
English language proficiency certificates and exam results are evaluated in coordination with the School of Foreign Languages.
Students who fail the Turkish or English Preparatory Program at the end of their first academic year are granted the right to attend the preparatory program for a second year.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY
Is a Turkish proficiency certificate mandatory?
Yes, a Turkish proficiency certificate is required for programs taught in Turkish. Applicants without a certificate may enroll in a Turkish preparatory program.
Which exams are accepted for English-taught programs?
TOEFL, YDS, or other equivalent exams accepted by the university are valid.
EVALUATION AND ADMISSION
How are applications evaluated?
Applications are evaluated by the International Office based on the applicant’s educational background, grade point average, and the specific requirements of the program.
How are admission results announced?
Admission results are announced through the application system, and accepted candidates are notified via email.
REGISTRATION PROCEDURES
How is registration completed?
Accepted candidates must submit the original required documents in person to the International Office within the dates specified in the acceptance letter.
How should document translations and approvals be completed?
Documents must be translated into Turkish and notarized by notary offices in Türkiye. Translations made by private translators without notarization are not accepted.
TUITION FEES AND SCHOLARSHIPS
What are the tuition fees?
Tuition fees vary by program and are announced by the university for each academic year.

Scholarship opportunities and conditions offered by the university are announced on our website.
RESIDENCE PERMIT AND VISA
Is a student visa required?
Yes, applicants residing outside Türkiye are required to obtain a student visa.
How can I apply for a residence permit?
After registration, students must apply for a residence permit through the Directorate of Migration Management. The International Office provides guidance throughout this process.
OTHER ISSUES
Can I participate in exchange programs?
Students who meet the required conditions may apply for Erasmus+ and other exchange programs.
