GRADUATION PROJECT

The Graduation Project is an essential part of the reflection of the knowledge and skills acquired by the students enrolled in Maltepe University Faculty of Business Administration and Management Sciences programs into practice. Encouraging students to produce projects and academic texts is a common goal of all programs.

Within the scope of Graduation Project I and II courses, students are expected to write a quality project that reflects the knowledge and skills they have acquired over the course of four years. For this reason, it is necessary to show the necessary care and effort at every stage, from generating ideas to presenting the work.

All graduation projects should be prepared in accordance with academic ethical principles and rules. Scientific negligence, scientific distortion, plagiarism, etc., which damage the reliability of the studies. attempts should be avoided.

Considering the issues mentioned in this guide, the principles and rules that must be followed during the graduation project writing process are included.

At the beginning of the semester, students choose the project advisor they want to work with. For the conduct of the projects, the project advisor determines three hours of project meeting hours a week, taking into account the weekly schedules of the students, and announces the meeting hours in the weekly schedule. Students carry out their projects by having additional meetings with their advisors, when necessary.

A student who does not get a passing grade in GRADUATION PROJECT I cannot attend GRADUATION PROJECT II.

 

GRADUATION PROJECT I COURSE: 

During the first seven weeks of Graduation Project I course, students are taught about scientific ethics, research methods, literature review, academic writing rules, graduation project preparation stages, and the preparation of the research report. After that, the students are asked to research the subject(s) they want to work on and identify a subject by obtaining the approval of the advisor to prepare a graduation project proposal by reviewing the resources.

GRADUATION PROJECT II COURSE:

In line with the graduation project proposal prepared in the Graduation Project I course, the graduation project is written in accordance with the academic writing rules specified in Maltepe University Faculty of Business and Management Sciences Guidelines for Writing Graduation Project and the Graduation Project Template.

Students continue their graduation project with the same advisor throughout the semester. At the end of this course, students submit their graduation projects to their advisors in electronic format and in hard copy.
