What Are the Criteria for Becoming a Mentor?

Candidates who wish to take part as mentors in the MENYA Program of the Department of International Trade and Logistics at Maltepe University are expected to meet the following criteria:

• Be a graduate or academic staff member of Maltepe University, or a sector professional working in logistics, supply chain, trade, or related fields,

• Have at least 5 years of professional experience in their field,

• Accept the objectives, processes, rules, and responsibilities of the program,

• Provide all required information and documents completely during the candidate selection and pre-matching processes,

• Share accurate and up-to-date information during the application and interview stages,

• Participate in the mentor training and the program kick-off meeting organized prior to the matching process,

• Commit to holding regular meetings with the mentee throughout the mentorship period,

• Conduct the process in communication and cooperation with the department administration,

• Adhere to the schedule determined throughout the program duration,

• Support the feedback, monitoring, reporting, and evaluation processes carried out within the scope of the program.
