Graduation Requirements

Learners registered in a PhD program,

  • and those who hold a Master program diploma are to take at least 7 courses (21 local credits) and enroll in a Preliminary Examination and PhD thesis, and complete 240 ECTS. (Courses which are in the curriculum but do not have local credit, and PhD thesis are assessed with a pass or fail).
  • and those who hold a Bachelor’s diploma are to take at least 14 courses (42 local credits) a Preliminary Examination and PhD dissertation, and complete 300 ECTS. (Some of the courses in the curriculum and PhD dissertation do not have local credit and they are assessed with a pass or fail).
  • are to get at least a DD grade in order to be successful in a course in their program.
  • are to have 3.00 general average grade out of 4.00 on the core subjects, and are to be successful in non-credit courses, Preliminary Examination and PhD dissertation defense.
