Qualification Requirements and Regulations

Learners studying in a PhD program are required:

  • Students holding a master program diploma are to be registered for at least 7 courses (with 21 credits), a preliminary exam and registered for a PhD thesis and to complete 240 ECTS credits. (Courses which are in the curriculum but do not have local credit and PhD thesis are assessed with a pass or fail).
  • Students holding an undergraduate diploma are required to be registered for at least 14 courses (with 42 local credits), a preliminary exam and registered for a PhD thesis and to complete 300 ECTS credits. (Courses which are in the curriculum but do not have local credit, and PhD thesis are assessed with a pass or fail).
  • To get at least a score of DD in order to be successful in each course of the program,
  • To get a score of at least 3.00 out of 4.00 in all of the core subjects and to be successful in all courses with no local credits and in the Ph.D. thesis defense.
